This is pretty much an all-plastic item, which I find regrettable. But so be it. The worse part about this turntable is that it only has connections for three tracks to go into a roundhouse. But BRIO's roundhouses have always had 5 tracks. So this item breaks compatibility. It is effectively useless if you want to use it in combination with a roundhouse. I don't understand why they make such decisions. It makes me sad, I hope someone with some history at BRIO is sad about it too.
Noteworthy about this is that the figurine is black. Which, to my recollection, is the third POC in a BRIO toy, the first one appeared in some BRIO Village sets, and the other one is in 33886 Cargo Transport Helicopter.
