The shortest lifespan of the early 2000's BRIO themes was for the Egypt theme. It only appeared in 2003 and was gone from the line-up in 2004. A pity because I think these are some incredibly fun items. Another thing to be liked about the trains is that they were fully wooden. At a time when BRIO had, for 10 years already, been transitioning to using much more plastic, to come out with full-wooden out-of-the-ordinary shaped trains... that's commendable. Just as with the Pirates theme, only five items were ever made, I don't own 33917 Egyption Adventure Set.
